Keep windows up
Do not roll newly tinted windows down for at least 3–5 days. Follow the specific timing DriveShade gives you because weather and curing conditions can change the recommendation.
Save this after your appointment
A few simple steps help your new film cure cleanly and protect its appearance. Follow any appointment-specific instructions DriveShade gives you first.
The first days matter
Curing time changes with temperature, humidity, weather, and the glass itself. Temporary moisture or haze does not automatically mean something is wrong.

Small moisture pockets or a light haze can appear while the adhesive dries. This can be normal during curing. Do not press, push, or pick at the film.
Follow the appointment-specific guidance before washing the vehicle or exposing the film to water—United's current guidance allows 3–7 days depending on conditions.
Use a soft, clean microfiber cloth with a mild ammonia-free glass cleaner once the film is ready to clean.
Do not use razor blades, abrasive pads, hard scrapers, or harsh scrubbing tools on the filmed side of the glass.
Do not place stickers, suction cups, or adhesive-backed accessories directly on the film.
When to contact DriveShade
Contact DriveShade if film begins lifting or peeling, if you see a scratch or damage you are unsure about, or if bubbling or haze remains after the standard curing period. United's current warranty identifies 30 days as the typical point after which bubbling may be evaluated as more than normal curing.
Photos help. Send one close view of the concern and one wider image showing its location on the window.
Tell us your name, vehicle, installation date, and what you are seeing. Keep your warranty information available if the installation was registered.
